Fosdinovo is a hamlet and associated municipality on the border between Liguria and Tuscany. Its neighbourhoods include Carignano, Giucano, Caniparola and Canepari - all of which have sea views, many olive groves and are easily accessible.
The Castello Malaspina in the centre of the village is an impressive sight, mentioned as early as the 11th century. Although the surrounding landscape is hilly, it is flatter than Massa and Camaiore, for example. The connection to Sarzana is fast and good. Lots of pubs, shops and restaurants. From the rear you can drive to Aulla in the Lunigiana.
